Growth Philanthropy Network and the Social Impact Exchange: GPN's mission is to exponentially increase the positive social impact of best-in-class programs that improve the lives of individuals and families. With the launch of the Social Impact Exchange, GPN focuses on creating a broad national marketplace of funders who participate in funding the scale-up of high-impact nonprofit initiatives.
GPN and SIE host the Social Innovation Fund Foundation Registry, a web-based platform designed to simplify the process for eligible Social Innovation Fund intermediaries and subgrantees to obtain matching funds from foundations.
Additionally, GPN and SIE host the Social Impact 100 (S&I 100), a broad index of U.S. nonprofits working in education, health, youth and poverty that have evidence of results and the potential to grow. S&I 100 helps these nonprofits find the capital they need to reach more people, and empowers donors to make a bigger difference.
GEO and GPN share an interest in promoting opportunities to leverage support and promote dialogue about growing impact. We have jointly organized regional gatherings, sponsored by Scaling What Works, to bring information to grantmakers interested in scale and becoming involved with the Social Innovation Fund.
GEO sponsored the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Social Impact Exchange conferences, and is a co-inviter and session host for the 2013 Social Impact Exchange conference.
